DA HIGHSCHOOL STAFF


The Project is now growing even more. 3 people are managing the Yearbook,which is now going to be larger than ever. Thanks to everyone who contributed inspiration, Ideas and anyone who helped especially ~LordToonXL He was absolutly wonderful and helped both myself and =nani-fox find common ground. he gets love and cookies.

This section of the project will close on Nov 2 at which time another project will begin which will end on Dec 21.

Sep 1 - January 1st Bust shots for yearbook

Nov 3- Dec 21 Most likelys, Extras and Fun.(I'll re work the info and post that when that section opens)

Photography and writing can be sent any time as a note to =nani-fox where it wil be kept safe until revelation day!

To participate the minimum that will be needed is a single Shoulders up snapshot school photo of your origional character. This section is directed to all digital and traditional media any form will be accepted so long that it is your original art work and no one elses.

The two of them will be working together to Gather ALL yearbook bust shots,categorizing and putting them into alphebetical order,comming up with a layout for the Yearbook pictures.

-- Rules for this section

-The character image must be 100x100 to fit into the 'year book' pages

- You can submit up to 5 characters for the yearbook and only up to 5. THIS IS FIVE AND ONE OF YOURSELF. Meaning technically 6,but 5 OTHER characters, Its about the community so doing yourself is prefered.x_x Sorry for confusion. You can do less, but please no more.

- The picture must be a shoulders up view.

-In your picture description please include characters first and last name, and some info about them (if your character is married, give them their maiden name, or make up a last name)

-NO CROPPING OLDER WORKS! You must draw a new picture!!

-The picture MUST be in colour! Digital or traditional, I don't care, it must be in colour.

-If you are unable to resize your picture, note me the full size and I will crop it for you.

- Characters such as Inuyasha, or Naruto, even if you draw them will not be accepted. Please include only your own original characters. If you have none, feel free to draw yourself.

-Please no tracing, even for a picture as small as this.

-The characters can be of any race. Human, Neko, Alien, Irken, Zombie. You get it. Any ethnicity and any sex. Discrimination ain't coo', yo.

Bit of info on what the character was like in High School compared to how they are now:

-And most importantly HAVE FUN, even though its a bust shot have some fun with it, no year book was ever without those goofy pics, those evil smirks, or insane freaks. Make them sneeze, make them gwafaw the sky is the limit so long as we keep clean.

-Once you have created your snap shot please note Nie or Charshi the link and they will store it on the comp until the project is closed.

Ok so I know this place is not only chock full of talented visual artists but writers and photographers. You all are just as important to the deviant art community and to ensure that you also have your fair share of the year book I am expanding this out to yall.

--WRITERS

Now what year book would be with out fanciful stories and articles on the 'hot topics' of the year? Home coming , prom, sports....use your imaginations and come up with crazy stories of what happens on the Deviant ART campus. Whats the latest gossip, what scandals happened? The sky is the limit, you are the reporter and this can be you doing it alone or even interviewing fellow deviants for the story. How bout what happened 'campus' this year, new layout pros and cons? DA's big birthday? and oh the loathing of art theives!!! Go nuts and surprise me with your wacky stories!

These stories will be includes periodically within the pages and will be spread out an organized depending on how it all flows. Please be courteous to others who also wish to participate please make your stories like articles. Look through your own year book for an idea on the length, since i hate to put a word count on your creativity.

I will be as flexible as possible when it comes to this.

--PHOTOGRAPHERS

At the end of every year book their are always picture collages of students from the graduating class! So her is your challenge. A picture collage celebrating your deviousness and pride in being a memeber of this online community!

Rules for this section

-They should include in the collage some how your deviant name, it doesn't have to be blatany it just has to be incorporated some how into your picture collage

-These will be towards the back of the 'book' after most likelys and should be submitted to me in TWO SIZES. The reason for this is that the smaller size may or may not be encorporated with the small snap shots. If i run out of snap shots the larger peice will simply have a page of it's own. OK? so...

-SMALL should be 600x 700

-LARGE should be 800x900

-Borders may be added to adjust for size but they ARE NOT required.

-The collage should show great pride in your art work show casing your best pieces. Collages can be hand glued or Digitally made.

-Please please please include your name and date of joining DA in the note, i will include this information at the bottom of your peice in the final 'year book'

Q: I am not in Highschool Yet!!! What do I Do!?
A: Well, Idea taken from =AtomicStoney Age yourself Depending on How long you've been on Deviantart. As in,if you've been on less than a year, you're a freshman. two years would be 10th grade, three would be 11th and Four years or more you'd be a Deviantart Senior.

Q: I am too old for Highschool!1! What do I Do?!
A: Same as above.

Q: What if I dont want to draw myself or my persona Older or younger.
A: Then Dont, thats just a fun extra mainly there for Other characters if you choose to do it; Mainly so you can have fun and laugh at you own characters, but you dont Need to do it to yourself or your persona.

Q: Can I be your friend?
A: Uhm..Okay. o_o;

Q: Who can Join the contest?
A: Anyone and evreyone. xD
