The way you have transform the creature into a human design has worked well and the thoughts and process you have taken with how the character may appeal has worked especially well. The addition of the gentleman suit with the slim physic and facial structure really connect well the original design and it's easy to see that you have a good eye for the craft of manipulating something into a fresh and vibrant form. Within your style of drawing also, the design has a lot of charm and energy for you've kept it simple and expressive through a clean array of line art and single stroke shading allows energy to swift through the presentation well.
